in the studio : june

This is what my desk looked like in June. The heat confined me to some smaller scale experiments. This is one of a few drawings that I was working on in graphite. Experimenting again with using pencils and graphite sticks of all hardness. Even the nail 6H. These coils of energy were a response to the substrate size and working on a small flat surface.

I really enjoy looking at these works. I’m pursuing letting my pencils dance across the surface.
