I finally have posted four pieces that were drawn dur­ing the sum­mer. I was inves­ti­gat­ing mak­ing draw­ings with pen­cil and sit­ting down — a very dif­fer­ent expe­ri­ence for me in the stu­dio.

These are inter­nal explo­rations. Deep mem­o­ries. The marks are very excit­ing. Turn­ing the paper allowed me to move the energy in new direc­tions. The draw­ings have led to a new series of larger draw­ings, I have two com­plete. I have five new pieces on the wall and expect to start four new pieces based on these smaller works.
